The book deals in detail with the author’s favourite aircraft SAAB J/A 21R in words and pictures. Here he has dug very deeply into various archives. The book is very comprehensive and describes the aircraft type from project to delivery, technical construction, service in the Air Force, the stories of the pilots, painting and labelling and the disposal of the aircraft type. Flight testing in particular is described in detail. The photographic material is extensive, accompanied by Thierry Wallet’s fine colour profiles. The fifteen total failures are also described in great detail.
Never before have so few aircraft been described on so many pages as well as in this book. There is absolutely nothing more to add!
