This is the story of the de Havilland’s first four-engined aaircraft – designed and built in four month for an Empire Air Route contract. The book tells of the aircraft’s design, developmentand use, and the crashes and investigations.
Included also is a comprehensive-as-possible history of each and every DH86 built with registration and aircraft name cross-references. For the modeller, there are also hundreds of illustrations providing as much detail as could be wanted to “super-detail” any aircraft model built.
